On 17/12/2024, the Manovikas College Of Special Education (MCSE) organized an enriching lecture through Yog Guru Mr. Milind Tripathi, Director of Aarogya Yog Sankalp Kendra and Faculty at Vikram University Ujjain, on Yoga therapy for the students of the B.Ed and D.Ed programs. The event took place on the college campus, providing students with a practical and educational insight into the world of Yoga.
During the lecture, students actively engaged in learning various yoga asanas and understanding the numerous benefits that Yoga offers. From physical well-being to mental health improvements, the session aimed to enhance the students' knowledge and appreciation for the holistic benefits of Yoga therapy.
The hands-on experience enabled students to not only grasp the theoretical aspects of Yoga therapy but also to implement and practice yoga asanas on the college campus. This interactive session fostered a deeper understanding of the importance of Yoga in maintaining overall health and well-being.
MCSE's initiative to organize this yoga therapy lecture reflects its commitment to promoting holistic wellness and encouraging a healthy lifestyle among its students.
Program successfully held under guidance of Fr. Tom George, Director of MCSE; Dr. Prem Chabbra, Academic Director of MCSE and faculties of MCSE, we all learned the transformative impact of Yoga therapy on individuals with special needs.
Ujjain [ 16-12-2024] - In a collaborative effort between the Manovikas College of Special Education and the Rotract Club of Manovikas Adarsh Special Educators, a free eye checkup health camp was organized 16/12/2024. This initiative aimed to promote eye health awareness and provide accessible healthcare services to the community, under the Aarohi Sopaan- Disability Awareness Program of MCSE.
Specialists, including Sini on optometrist Mrs. Deepshika and ARNCT operator Mr. Dinesh, offered their expertise and services during the health camp. Their presence and dedication ensured that individuals received comprehensive eye examinations and valuable insights into their eye health.
The event wouldn't have been possible without the support of the MCSE administration and the members of Rotract Club of Manovikas Adarsh and the Marketing department team members, Rahul Patidar and Madhur Gahlot, who played crucial roles in organizing and promoting the health camp.
The collaborative efforts of MCSE, Rotract Club of Manovikas Adarsh Special Educators, and the dedicated specialists and volunteers made this event a success, providing much-needed eye care services to the community. The program successfully held under guidance of Fr. Tom George, director of MCSE and Dr. Prem Chabbra , academic director of MCSE. Special thanks to Mrs. Yogita Sharma, assistant professor MCSE. More than 300 participants and organizers for contributed to the success of this free eye checkup health camp.Manovikas College of Special Education was established on 1st July 2015. The Mission of the organization is to provide proper education to children with special needs. Hence by Madhya Pradesh Viklang Sahayata Samiti (MPVSS), Ujjain took the step to train and built the eligible, dedicated faculty and provide equal opportunities to the disables and built them healthy environment . Initially, it was started with first batch of 14 Students scored 80 percentages in the first Semester. With the existing courses, this year Manovikas College got the approval from RCI to start the TTC course on Deaf blindness at MPVSS supported by Sense International India.
The country needs talented and skilled human resources for providing training and education to the thousands of children with special needs. Manovikas College of Special Education (MCSE) was founded by Madhya Pradesh Viklang Sahayata Samiti (MPVSS), Ujjain in the year 2015, with a vision to train and build eligible and dedicated special educators. This is the first and only Special Education college affiliated to Vikram University, Ujjain, approved by Rehabilitation council of India, New Delhi
Special Education may be best described as a purposeful intervention designed to overcome or eliminate the obstacles that keep children with disabilities from learning, in other word it is about providing children with disabilities with individualized plans of institution to help them succeed.
For this purpose MCSE originated by MPVSS, Ujjain. MCSE continuously generating competent trained special teachers.
