
A one day national webinar on “Employment for young adults with Deaf blindness need and Job Opportunities”concluded at Manovikas College of Special Education (MCSE), Ujjain on Saturday. It was approved by Rehabilitation Council of India as CRE Programme.
In inaugural session Dr. Prem Chhabra, academic director, MCSE welcomed chairperson Shri Ashok Kadel, Director, Madhya Pradesh Granth Academy, Chief guest Shri Akhilendra Kumar, Ex Dy Commissioner Divyangjan UP, Registrar, Dr. Shakuntala Misra, National Rehabilitation University, Lucknow (U.P.). Most Respected ‘Bishop’Dr. Sebastian Vadakkel,the Diocese of Ujjain gave his blessings. Resource person Ms. Divya delivered lecture on Vocational Training for deafblind, finding job in community, Mrs. Renu Delevered lecture on Government laws, legislation and schemes that support vocational rehabilitation, Mr. Shivam Rai lecture on Types of Employment, Accessibility, and Adaptations at work and Mr. Srijan Singh lecture on Sharing information with employment about supports and how to access those supports. CRE Programme coordinate by Mr.Srijan Singh, Asstt. Professor. Fr. Tom George, Director, Manovikas College of Special Education, Ujjain thanked the Resource Persons and all the participants.
