Seventeen days certificate course on “Identification, Assessment and Therapies on Autism” was inaugurated on 27.07.2021 at 03:15 PM on online mode. The resource person Ms. Nilanjana Ghosh Rambothu, Creative Director of Sunshine Autism Society, Kolkata.
Fr. Tom George, Director MCSE, Dr. Prem Chhabra, Academic Director, MCSE and all the staff membersof MCSE Ujjain were conducted this course by Zoom. The programme was started by virtual prayer. In the Inaugural session Miss Jyoti Kamble, Assistant Professor in Clinical Psychology from department of Psychology, introduce and welcome Bishop Dr. Sebastian Vadekal, Fr. Tom George, Director, Dr. Prem Chhabra, Academic Director & Resource person, Miss. Nilanjana Ghosh Rambothujourney. Main topics were covered like What is Autism ? Historical Development is the treatment at Autism, Co-morbidities of ASD, Theories related to Autism, Functional Assessment & Behaviour Modification. Total 100 member of participants attended this course 77% are female & 22% are male through virtual mode. People from 11 different states were involved is the course. States like Kolkata, Tamil Nadu, Chennai, Mumbai, Haryana, Bangalore, New Delhi, Lucknow, Saharanpur, Hyderabad & Pune and two participants were also attended from Oman (Muscat) this course from outside from India. Out of 20% are students, 30% are professionals, 35% are teachers & educators & other 15%.

Since I am from southern part of India,I I can follow South Indian Languages, but I know a little of Hindi. So I found a bit difficult to fully absorb the contents when explained in Hindi. Otherwise the efforts by your team was awesome. Great going….
