One day workshop based on Art and Craft, Fine Arts was organized by Manovikas College of Special Education, Ujjain on 24/03/2021 from 10.30 am to 5.00 pm in which the school and college staff, college trainees participated. The program was started with a prayer.
With the help of news paper, needle, thread, fevicol, scissors, stars, ribbons, gotta, painting color, brushed, cloth, clay etc. Participants created new materials , designed new materials which was decorated on broken cup, frame, bowl, lids etc.
At the beginning of the program important of arts in education was given by Mrs. Asha Pandya.
The first session from 10.30 am to 1 am, staff and students made paper bags by sheets which was instruction by Mrs. Sarabjeet Kaur.
From 2.00 pm to 4.00 pm in the second phase of the program clay work in many forms as flowers pots, ideols etc. were design.
Father George, Director of MPVSS, Sr. Merrin, Principal of Manovikas School, Father Tom George, Director of Manovikas College and Dr. Prem Chhabra, Academic Director of Manovikas College were present.
An exhibition of materials design was also held after the workshop.
On this occasion Fr. George appreciated the program and the work done by the participants and told that this type of activities should be held time to time to enhance the creativity.
Father George appreciated all the participants. Mrs. Usha, Special Educator, Manovikas school, was awarded for designing Best Bag.
Father Tom George also congratulated everyone for the success of the workshop.
Academic Director Dr. Prem Chhabra also told that this workshop helps the student in their academics.
